Introducing Shirin...
‘Switch your attention, follow the direction...I'm taking you away'

2010 is set to be a big year for this talented UK born Singer/Songwriter. It's been a long time coming, but with everything in place for Shirin's debut release the World better prepare to join the journey... welcome to Shirin's World.

After traveling to L.A. in early 2010, Shirin wrote and recorded her debut album in just 10 days with her vision, dreams and ideas all in mind. It's all about escapism, finding your inner diva and feeding that indulgence with the sweet sound of Shirin.

On return to the UK Shirin set out on a mission, a movement, and began taking every step towards the release of her Single ‘Taking You Away' due to hit the charts Autumn 2010.

The first phase was to begin designs for the new website with a colour theme driven by Shirin's branding. The new Site has been instrumental in building Shirin's International fan base linked to social networking sites where fans have set up groups such as ‘Shirin's Norwegian Fans'.

US Management and Legal Representation were appointed shortly after the L.A. trip to deal initially with Shirin's career in the USA & Canada.

Shirin was appointed to two booking agencies - ‘Coda Agency' for Club Events, and ‘Tornado Productions' for school tours around the country in the spring of 2010. Shirin began her UK ‘Taking You Away' Tour at the end of April. The reaction to the single has been phenomenal, with school children as young as 5 dancing and singing along to the chorus, and queues of fans waiting to meet Shirin just to grab a photograph with her.

Following on from interest shown in the USA, Shirin's UK Producer was approached by Konvict Muzik Rapper, Qwes Kross, to feature on Shirin's Promotional Single ‘Be Like Me'. In May 2010, whilst passing through the UK to Tour in Europe, Qwes and Shirin shot a Promo video for ‘Be Like Me', which was later released on iTunes through Island and Def Jam Digital on 28th June 2010.

Most recently the Official High Definition video for ‘Taking You Away' was shot, with Shirin's visions encompassed in the storyboard, props, costume and make-up designs. The excitement of the shoot lead to preparations and meetings just days later regarding the National Radio, T.V. and Media promotions for the digital Single release through Universal Music and official remixes were commissioned to be sent out to the hottest nightclubs in the UK. A number of teen magazines have also confirmed their interest to feature Shirin in articles prior to the release.

With Shirin's music described by the national industry magazine ‘Musician' as "a series of equally striking records which Rihanna or Amerie would love to call their own. Stunning" Her talent is undeniable.
